Many proprietary models of DMUs suffer two drawbacks - poor running and a highly visible motor block inside the bodywork. The LoRider eliminates these problems at a stroke. Its 34mm wheelbase perfectly matches the standard DMU bogie, while the low side profile enables it to sit well down inside the bodyshell, restoring the clear interior. Multiple fixing points provide a sturdy screw-fit into plastic or whitemetal bogie frames.
 
Running is smooth and assured thanks to the 3-point compensation, double-reduction gearing with three gear ratios available to suit your needs: 27:1 for main-line running, 36:1 for small layouts where speeds are generally lower; and 48:1 for superbly controllable slow-speed operations.
