Designed for the Judith Edge Ruston 88 kit, but suitable for any small loco with the same wheelbase, this QuadDriver will deliver incredible slow-speed controllability with unstoppable power at the wheels.
 
As with all the Quad' range, the mechanism rides directly on the loco axles with the weight of the engine supported by the existing sideframes or chassis, so simple 3-point compensation is easy to effect.
 
The 2mm interference-fit, axle gear is only 8.7mm diameter, so you can use wheels as small as 2'6''without clearance issues. The motor ideally situated to fit under the small bonnet of a diesel shunter.
