  • Stage 1 gears, available in three toothforms, are matched to specific worms types (available separately).

  • Worm and gear combinations cannot be mix-and-matched.

  • Stage 1 gears have one single identification dot with slanted teeth on the larger part of the gear.

  • For All Gearboxes except SlimLiner and 14xx Chassis

  • Notes on Ratio Changes

    The ratio of the gearbox can be changed by swapping the Stage 1 gear along with its corresponding worm type.

     

    A finer pitch Stage 1 gear will give a slower overall speed - replacing a 15/10T gear with a 20/10T (and matching worm) would give a slower track speed. 27/10 would be even slower.
