The TendeRiser is a highly compact 1:1 spur box which enables you to mount a large motor inside your loco tender. You can vary the position of the output shaft from the box, so the height is best suited to your particular loco and tender combination.

Another useful feature of this box is the ‘telescopic’ geartrain which can be arranged to act like a spline, allowing the driveshaft length to vary slightly as the coupling pivots. Once you've sourced your own universals and shafts, you can connect The TendeRiser to one of our gearboxes, using their remote attachments.
